As patient data continues to grow, healthcare providers are using data mining technologies to extract meaningful information from these disparate data sources in order to :
Data and quality professionals will play a more direct role in healthcare as the need for combining and analyzing data from these disparate data sources becomes more important for purposes of research, diagnosis and ultimately providing quality healthcare to patients.
This is a great opportunity for our section members who are Quality Professionals to learn about how Big Data is becoming a critical part of healthcare. Speaker bios will be posted on the website soon.

Restaurant on February 25th was a big success. Our new members, and outgoing
board members were honored. This was followed by round-robin speed networking
event that was enjoyed by all.

The private tour of the American Airpower Museum on April 30, 2015 was a truly unforgettable event. Our members enjoyed the informative commentary provided by the tour guide and the stories behind the planes.
