Seifer Quality Institute of ASQ

The Seifer Quality Institute is pleased to announce that registration is now open for the Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) Examination Preparation class.

The Certified Quality Engineer is a professional who understands the principles of product and service quality evaluation and control. This body of knowledge and applied technologies include, but are not limited to, development and operation of quality control systems, application and analysis of testing and inspection procedures, the ability to use metrology and statistical methods to diagnose and correct improper quality control practices, an understanding of human factors and motivation, facility with quality cost concepts and techniques, and the knowledge and ability to develop and administer management information systems and to audit quality systems for deficiency identification and correction.

The class will run on
Thursday evenings from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM,
starting March 8th until May 24th (12 weeks)
and will be held at
Circor Aerospace, Hauppauge, NY.

The cost is $700 for ASQ Members ($800 for non-members).

Materials must be ordered, so please register today!!! Exam Date – June 2, 2012 The application deadline for the CQE exam is April 13, 2012.

The next local exams are on March 3, 2012 with an application deadline of January 13th, and June 2, 2012 with an application deadline of April 13, 2012.

Every ASQ certification exam is offered twice annually on either a June & December or a March & October schedule. For example the Six Sigma Green Belt exam is offered every June & December and the Quality Manager exam is offered every March & October.
