1. Basic Purpose and Objective of the Position
The Quality Inspector I position is responsible for the quality of the products inspected and tested. Position originates quality assurance and control documentation.

2. Major Responsibilities
Performs first- article and final inspection as required.
Prepares quality documentation including inspection reports.
Sets-up and operates various mechanical measuring instrumentation.
Sets-up magnetic testing equipment and performs magnetic testing if required.
Reads, interprets, and uses information in Vantage. Processes transactions in Vantage.
Assists less skilled inspectors [Quality Inspector II].
Performs visual inspection of products in accordance with industry standards and customers technical documentation.
Prepares rejection tags, stamps or otherwise approve acceptable parts and complete paper work as required.
Prepares initial packaging, originates bar code labels, and completes jobs as required.
Participates in resolving quality concerns and situations.
Keeps work area clean and orderly for effective use and safety.
Performs other duties as assigned or as required.

3. Knowledge Required

• Minimum high school diploma.
• At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

Quality Leader
JOB SUMMARY:
Quality Leaders will be focused on all aspects of Quality within Remitco Operations. The primary focus is on optimizing the processes, workflow, and communication/partnership with leadership teams across the network.
They will manage the overall internal relationship, tracking analysis and reporting with respect to quality control and compliance for all clients. They will oversee the inspections, prepare documentation and interpret basic analytical data. They will provide guidance and direction to meet operational quality standards as needed to meet business goals and objectives.

They will supervise Quality Inspectors tasked with gathering Outgoing Quality Level Data. They will ensure the Quality Inspectors are productive and are meeting internal sampling requirements and external service level agreements. This position is ultimately responsible for overall performance of their direct reports in their assigned facility.

They are a key participant in the deployment of Remitco’s Quality infrastructure. They will also be in charge of evaluating the effectiveness of the Quality Inspectors and the Quality program within Remitco. They will work closely with the Site Leadership and Quality Director to ensure that quality performance is within acceptable levels.

Responsibilities:

1. Quality Assurance Operations to include: -Works with site leadership to draft, implement and enforce policies and procedures related to client SLA's.
-Documents inter-departmental processes, linkages and opportunities to partner with Operations leadership to address internal and external quality issues.
-Recommends change/improvement in functions to maximize benefits to the process and enhance the client experience.
-Establish appropriate methods and measures of process performance ensuring consistency through sharing best practices and benchmarking across the network.
-Supports improvement, design and projects using quality tools, techniques and methodologies.
-Compiles and analyzes results of QA program, including trending on a weekly and monthly basis.
-Partners with site leadership to draft, implement and enforce policies and procedures related to client SLA's.

Quality Inspector Management to include:
-Coach and mentor team members on quality tools and techniques
- Manage the performance and ongoing development of direct reports through monitoring, timely coaching and counseling, positive reinforcement, and honest, direct feedback.
2. Complete Quality related projects as needed. Such projects may include client specific sampling/testing, Gage R & R (tests that measure our Quality Inspectors Repeatability and Reproducibility during their sampling process), compliance audits and other ad hoc projects as needed.
3. Ensure accurate quaity statistics for daily, weekly and monthly summary reports as required. Monitor and maintain control charts, pareto charts, and other charts/graphs that may support our quality initiatives.
4. Coordinate and lead periodic equipment calibrations with Operations and Clients to ensure consistentcy of Quality ratings.
5. Participate in required meetings with Business Partners to address customer quality improvement issues and ensure that customer enhancements plans are communicated and acted upon in a timely manner.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
3 to 5 years related operational work experience.
Pervious supervisory experience is preferred.
Must show strong initiative; work independently and with little or no supervision.
Analytical skills required to review quality data and identify opportunities for improvement.
Must possess high level of problem solving skills.
Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects.
Flexibility to adapt to constant system, client, and product changes and/or enhancements.
Ability to effectively partner with site operations management and our clients.

Job Responsibilities:
• Lead Six Sigma projects that will drive change in the business units, while generating cost savings, increasing revenue and/or increasing productivity. • Advocate Six Sigma methodology and tools across business units.

Job Requirements:
• Candidates should have a minimum of 4-6 years business experience, preferably in financial services.
• Candidates can come from a company who has an internal consulting/quality assurance group, or have external consulting experience [financial services clients].
• Candidates can have project management experience, providing they have worked on full life cycle projects. PMP Certification is a plus.
• Candidates can come from the operations area of a financial service company, providing they have the skill sets to do the job.
• Candidates should have experience in process improvement, reengineering, change management, etc.
• Candidates should be versed in a consultative approach to understanding business problems and solutions.
• Candidates should have strong project management and facilitation skills.
• Candidates should have at least a Bachelor’s degree; an MBA is a definite plus.
• Presentation software skills in Microsoft Office [Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access] are needed. Visio or equivalent process mapping software is desirable. Experience with Microsoft Project or equivalent project management software required.

Basic Job Function
The Quality Assurance Director reports directly to the Vice President of Quality Assurance. The Quality Assurance Director is responsible for all aspects of Quality Assurance in support of contract packaging (bottles/blisters/pouches). Core responsibilities include inspection of incoming components, in-process and finished goods quality audits, batch record processing and finished goods release. The Quality Assurance Director is responsible for working with Operations Management in a multi-shift environment to maintain manufacturing processes that are fully cGMP compliant.

Essential Job Functions
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, FDA current Good Manufacturing Practices and other relevant regulatory requirements (ISO 9000, etc).
- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to assure a competent, efficient and effective Quality Assurance organization that works well in cross-functional teams. Assure staff is always current with all required training
- Provide Quality Assurance leadership, direction and support of corrective action / preventive actions. Support the development and on-going generation of quality metrics.
- Participate in or otherwise support customer and regulatory agency audits of facilities.
